Stages:

Stage I

The actual state in the domain of the magnetoresistive manganites. The synthesis of some test compositions from the

(Ln,Ln’)1-xAxMn1-yMyO3+d  (Ln,Ln’=rare earth, A=Sr,Ca,Ba, Pb,K; M=Cu,Cr,Co,V, Sc) manganite systems.

 Deadline: 5.12.2006

Stage II

The influence of the parameters of the synthesis processes (ceramic / mechanical alloying methods) and of some oxidic additives on the phase composition of some LLAMnMO ) (M=Cr, V, Sc) manganites. Crystalline phase diagrams, magnetic and transport properties at low temperatures; structure and phase composition vs. chemical composition and thermomechanical treatment.

  Deadline: 1.06. 2007

Stage III

The establish of the correlation between structural parameters, tolerance factor, chemical disorder,  Mn3+/Mn4+ concentrations and transport characteristics of the monophasic (polycrystalline)(Ln,Ln’)1-xAxMn1-yMyO3+d (Ln,Ln’=rare earth, A=Sr,Ca,Ba,Pb; M=Cu, Co) manganites,

 Deadline: 5.12.2007

Stage IV

Stage V

The comparative study of the factors which change the electronic and crystalline phase diagrams (for the monophasic /polycrystalline samples) of (Ln,Ln’)1-xAxMn1-yMyO3+d (Ln,Ln’=rare earth, A=Sr,Ca,Ba,Pb; M=Cr, V, Sc) manganites. The establish of the parameters which optimize the transport properties of the studied manganites. Studies and experiments concerning the achievement of some devices based on the magnetoresistive performances of the thin films and / or bulk  (Ln,Ln’)1-xAxMn1-yMyO3+  (Ln,Ln’=rare earth, A=Sr,Ca,Ba,Pb; M=Cu,Co, Cr, V, Sc), Results dissemination.
