The 7th Edition of the International Workshop on Amorphous and Nanostructured Magnetic Materials – ANMM’2015, will be held in Iaşi, at Hotel International, between September 21 and September 24, 2015, following the first 5 editions (2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2011) held in Iaşi and the last edition held in Sendai in 2013.

Known as The Cultural Capital of Romania, Iaşi is a symbol in Romanian history. Still referred to as The Moldavian Capital, Iaţi is the seat of Iasi County and the main economic centre of the Romanian region of Moldavia. Home to the first Romanian modern university and to the first engineering school, it is the second largest university centre in the country and accommodates over 75,000 students in 5 public and 7 private universities. The social and cultural life revolves around cultural centres and festivals, an array of museums, memorial houses, religious and historical monuments.

Iaşi was the capital of the historic Principate of Moldova and was Romania's first capital (from 1859-1862).

Iaşi continued to be the most important cultural centre of the country even after Bucharest became the capital of Romania in 1862.

Iaşi can be reached by plane, by train or by car from Bucharest, which is around 400 km far.
